| Engine Poop and Colorado Farm |

We made it to Colorado a few days a go. It was a hard hall. The engine died in Santa Fe New Mexico and we had to tow it the rest of the way into Colorado. It might be the piston rings, hoses, crankshaft, or something. We still do not know what the problem is but that is OK because the reason why we came to Colorado was to upgrade the engine. Most likely we will bore out the piston holes to add horse power and add an air intake with real air cleaner and aftermarket parts. Hopefully we will also add a automatic transmission or just fix up the current manual and remove the two speed back end. The weather this week is nice but last night was supposedly in the low 20s, it did not seem like east coast New York weather maybe because of the low humidity. I had the wood stove blaring this morning and was comfortable in shorts. I believe the Colorado Springs Gazette newspaper is going to do a story in a week or so. I am actually based in Fountain Colorado which is about 25 miles south of Colorado Springs. I am living on a 40 acre farm. I am helping with the animals; they have cows, goats, chickens, rabbits, and two dogs. Yesterday I helped feed the baby cows and move them around in the barn and also cleaned out the water and food buckets because a few baby cows died because of an illness. |
