I picked the cantaloupe that I have been growing for the past few months, yesterday, and I had it for breakfast.
It was less than expected because the flavor was a little odd and it was not as sweet at it should have been.
I guess the straight sulfur mineral water might not have been the best water choice but the flavor could also been effected by the hot weather and missed waterings. Next weekend is anxiously coming, as I have a girl coming from Oklahoma to do some work for me and hang out. My dad is also visiting Friday and Saturday which is cool. The weather has been getting much nicer in Jacumba, the swimming pools are cooling down a bit too. The advertising I had started did not accomplish much and I am disappointed with it. I am still looking for a local San Diego friend who wants to carpool to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. My allergies have been extremely annoying the last few weeks, stupid runny nose and blowing nose all morning. It seems to stop in the afternoon and night. I would like to find a natural fix for this allergy. |
