Community Power

It has been a while since my last entry. It is interesting, a friend of mine told me yesterday that people do not realize how powerful a community can be. It is good to see that other people feel the same way I do. America is such a big place that most areas do not have community at all. The elderly travel 4 hours a day to buy food and talk with friends on public buses. I think that is just as bad as child obesity. My father visited this past weekend. We ate at Salsa Lynda restaurant in Boulevard about 8 miles from Jacumba. This place has some of the best Mexican food I have ever tasted they even sell freshly made salsa in bottles, the salsa is amazing and I recommend the burritos, they are easily vegan/vegetarian friendly too.

I think you SHOULD try to think more on this and then put your ideas into action and work on building a community. All I've ever seen you do is solicit people on craigslist and myspace and modelmayhem however...for really superficial forms of art, socialization, and help. It's a little more than sketchy:( The internet isn't a very REAL place to start building real human social communities in my opinon. Don't be lazy. Don't be scared. Don't be superficial. Get out into the real world again, and learn about real life and real communities you can directly engage in a non-superficial meaningful way.
