| I need to figure out better ways to reach people. A friend of a friend bluntly said he knows I have done things I he has not done and experienced things he has not experienced, and so if I were to die he would not know about any of my experiences. My response was I am trying. Another interesting comment that was made the other day was about the thousands of homeless people living in their cars or trucks, yet nobody asks them where they go to the bathroom, but the second you see a guy living in a purple truck they ask where he goes to the bathroom? An article ran in the San Diego North County Times today so check it out. |

| Having lived in San Diego most of my half-century, I can tell you that about the only community that could relate to you and have remotely any compassion to your cause and your purple Gypsy wagon is Ocean Beach. They still remain a throw-back to the '60s Haight Ashbury days of the vagabond hippie school buses, etc. Your biggest problem, however, is going to be parking. That community is crowded as shit as far as car clutter goes. Streets and alleys are narrow and the police will kick you out of the beach parking lots at night. |
